    • Synopsis
      The objective of this book is to provide a reliable source of information and knowledge, especially for students who are enrolled in the DPL30053 Principles and Practices of Transportation course and require references related to transportation concepts and practices.
      This book is fully developed based on the Polytechnic
      MOHE syllabus for the WBL Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain program. Transportation Insight emphasizes the fundamental principles, functions and operations of transportation systems, including their role in supporting logistics efficiency and economic development.
      Through this subject, students will be exposed to different modes of transportation, key elements of transportation management, and current issues in the industry. The knowledge gained will not only enhance their academic learning but also help them apply these concepts in various logistics and supply chain contexts

      In a group of NOT MORE THAN THREE (3), you are required to:

      1. Organize a ride on the public transportation of your choice. Choose any public transportation (bus, taxi, aircraft, rail, ferry etc.), Record your journey while using the services.

      2. Share the safety and security provided for the passenger and good while in transit. (Obtain permission from the local authority or the operator before recording if required)

      3. Describe the challenges that might affect the movement of the transport or customer service at the terminals. These challenges include traffic congestion, environmental issues or limited accessibility for people with disabilities.
      4. Propose an innovative transportation technology idea that could help address the issues you encounter.
      5. Prepare a report writing, video and slide presentation as at _______________ to share your experience and finding in the class.

      2. Please ensure that the entire assignment is formatted using Times New Roman font.
      3. The font size should be 12 points.
      4. Use 1.5-line spacing for the text.

      1. You may use any medium/platform to create the slide if it is suitable for presentation. Your contents must consists minimum of 8 slides.
      2. Duration of your video presentation is within 8-10 minutes.
