      Colour in Shaping Industrial Design Aesthetics  highlighted the essential role of colour in shaping how products are perceived, valued, and experienced. More than just a visual element, colour is a powerful design language that communicates emotions, defines brand identity, enhances usability, and ensures safety in industrial contexts. 

    • COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME

      Students will be able to explain the role of colour in enhancing the aesthetic and emotional appeal of industrial products, identify and interpret colour trends and cultural influences, and apply principles of colour theory such as hue, saturation, and contrast to design development. Students also will be able to evaluate how colour interacts with form and material to create cohesive, ergonomic designs, develop strategic colour palettes for product identity, and critically analyze existing industrial products based on their use of colour in relation to aesthetics, branding, and usability.
